Hi, I'm Sofia

I’m currently a senior at Stanford pursuing a B.S. in Symbolic Systems with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). My passion for computer science, psychology, and philosophy led me to this degree, where I delved into the fascinating fields of HCI and UX Design.

Born and raised in Bolivia to Korean parents, I love living at the crossroads of different cultures and experiences. When I’m not creating wireframes on Figma, programming, or exploring human psychology, I’m a proud world traveler, dog lover, and an alleged magician.

What's with the flower theme?

The flower theme serves as a symbol of my core values—diversity, growth, and impact —both in design and in life.

  • Diversity: Growing up Korean-Bolivian, I’ve always held a deep appreciation for the beauty that emerges from different cultures and perspectives.

  • Growth: Just as flowers need meticulous care to thrive, I believe great design requires ongoing detailed attention and refinement, as do I.

  • Impact: I strive to create beautiful work that inspires and creates impact.

Bolivian kantuta — symbol of diversity, unity, and hope.

Korean mugunghwa — symbol of resilience, unity, and love.
